I just obtained mine. how do I get that huge chunky steel piece off the spline to make it look like it does in the 2nd photograph. The spline is not uncovered. Confused. Did I get the mistaken product?
A: Remove the castle nut from the threaded part of the shaft. The blade hub adapter should slide off the spline with a small persuasion. Then the spline and the threads will be uncovered.

what is the variation in between the 250179 
and the 250001? They seem similar to me.
A: The total box is the exact same, but the enter shaft technical specs vary between the two.
